Australian Startup Padlokt Announces New Partnerships With Professional Athletes

Australian startup Padlokt announced partnerships with the UFC and several professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, cricket and track and field. Padlokt is a fan engagement service and content creator. Fans can ask their favorite athletes questions face-to-face, via live two-way video for $1.99 a month. The deals announced will see athletes from the UFC join the following talent on Padlokt: 

  • NBA L.A. Lakers player Julius Randle
  • NFL Green Bay Packers player Randall Cobb
  • Track and field Olympic Gold Medalist Sanya Richards-Ross
  • Former England cricketer and professional boxer Adam Hollioake
  • U.S. TV personality Marquel Martin
The first live two-way video sessions confirmed as part of the UFC partnership include: 
  • UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson (Dec. 15)
  • No. 1 UFC light heavyweight Anthony Johnson (Dec. 20)
  • No. 5 UFC bantamweight Cody Garbrandt (Dec. 27)
  • UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic (Dec. 29) (Padlokt)
