Marketplace Roundup: Alisports Partners With FINA World Aquatics Gala Through '25

Chinese e-commerce group Alisports has become a new partner for the Int'l Swimming Federation (FINA) World Aquatics Gala "Soirée des Etoiles." FINA said that the deal with Alisports was established for the organization of the gala -- which is held annually in Windsor, Canada -- from '16-25. Alisports will have the opportunity to associate with open water and high diving events. It will also focus on youth training and coaching staff training, establishing training courses and venues. As a corollary of this partnership, Alisports will be the exclusive e-commerce, ticketing, and sports tourism partner for China (XINHUA, 12/5).

Barcelona fans "appear to have been given a sneak peek" of the kits the team "will don next season." Images leaked online on Monday "suggest the Spanish side will be wearing light blue and brown on their travels next season," while the designs will also carry the logo of new sponsor Rakuten for the first time. Lionel Messi, Neymar and Co. will don their familiar home colors during Nou Camp matches, "although the stripe dimensions are different to this season's jersey" (London DAILY MAIL, 12/5).

Puma signed an endorsement partnership with Borussia Dortmund's Marc Bartra. The Spanish int'l will wear Puma evoPOWER boots starting this week. Bartra will join Marco Reus as a key player in BVB club campaigns and will be featured in retail and digital initiatives (Puma).
