Saturday's Barcelona-Real Madrid Match To Air In 185 Countries Via 50 Int'l Broadcasters

Every angle will be covered at the Camp Nou this Satuday, "quite literally, with a plethora of cameras, presenters, and satellite trucks prepared to beam" the Clásico between Barcelona and Real Madrid around the world, according to Luis Alberto Díaz of MARCA. The game will kick off at 4pm local time and "alongside the 99,000 spectators" will be viewers from 185 countries, beamed in live via 50 int'l broadcasters. History "will be made, also," in the fact that 4K Ultra HD will be available for the first time for a Clásico with SuperZoom technology "adding to the experience." There will be 37 fixed cameras around the stadium, one of which will be aerial. A further two will focus on Barcelona Manager Luis Enrique and Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi "also subject" to high-speed focus from their own cameras. Managing all this equipment "will be eight mobile control units, six satellite trucks, and over 400 media personnel" (MARCA, 12/1).
