Marketplace Roundup: NRL Side Canterbury Partners With Dessert Brand Wicked Sister

National Rugby League side Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs signed a partnership with dessert brand Wicked Sister. The brand will appear on the front and back of NRL playing shorts for the next three years. The deal with Wicked Sister completes the Bulldogs apparel sponsorship and makes it the most lucrative playing kit in the history of the club (Bulldogs).

DHL Express signed an agreement to become the official logistics provider for the Race Of Champions. The company will support the shipping and logistics for the upcoming Race Of Champions on Jan. 21-22 -- starting this week by bringing the ROC Winner’s Trophy to Miami’s Marlins Park. The lineup for ROC Miami features four-time F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel, fellow F1 driver Felipe Massa, World Rallycross champion Petter Solberg and “Mr. Le Mans” Tom Kristensen. The int'l shipping and courier delivery company will support the logistical demands, including shipping the event’s competition cars and the time-keeping system (ROC).

Inmarsat will return as the Volvo Ocean Race’s official global satellite communications partner for a fifth consecutive time for the '17-18 race. The ongoing partnership advances the possibilities of onboard satellite communications and powers the race’s digital content delivery from the oceans, while supplying safety and tracking services (Inmarsat).

British Cycling signed a deal with Love Velo as the organization’s new official travel partner. The partnership was launched at the home of the Great Britain Cycling Team, the National Cycling Centre in Manchester (British Cycling).
