Int'l sports data company Genius Sports appointed former Bloomberg Sports President BILL SQUADRON to the role of U.S. Special Counsel. Based in N.Y., Squadron will bring his experience in the sports data and analytics sector to help orchestrate Genius Sports' strategy and business development in North America. Genius Sports now has operations in N.Y. and Washington, DC, and recently opened new offices in L.A. and Medellín, Colombia (Genius Sports). ... Borussia Dortmund President REINHARD RAUBALL has been elected for another three years, "marking his sixth consecutive term." Rauball, 69, was elected with an "overwhelming majority" on Sunday and will go into his eighth term in total, after already leading the club for two brief periods in the '70s and '80s. He took charge of the club alongside CEO HANS-JOACHIM WATZKE in '04 amid Dortmund's "battle to avoid bankruptcy." During his reign, Dortmund has become "one of the biggest clubs worldwide in terms of membership." It currently has 145,207 members. He has also led the German Football League since '07 (ESPN.com, 11/21).

COACHES/MANAGERS: The French Cycling Federation (FFC) announced that men's national team Manager BERNARD BOURREAU has decided to retire. Bourreau started with the FFC in '06 as the national juniors manager and was promoted to men's head coach in '13. His replacement has yet to be named (FFC).
