Budapest 2024 Reveals 12 New Sponsors Of Olympic Games Bid

A total of 12 sponsors have "thrown their support behind Budapest’s bid for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games to date," according to Liam Morgan of INSIDE THE GAMES. Only 11 have currently been named by Budapest 2024, however, "as one company did not want to be named yet" as it plans on having a launch event. The companies, which include Audi and Budapest Airport, are "all part of the Hungarian capital's multi-million euro sponsorship programme." Others on Budapest 2024's list of sponsors are Magyar Telekom and budget airline Wizz Air. The Budapest Transport Company, the Centre for Budapest Transport, property development and management company Gránit Pólus, GRAPHISOFT SE, Mid Ocean Central and Eastern Europe, Provident Financial and liquor producer Zwack Unicum have "also signed agreements with the Bid Committee." L.A. and Paris are the other two cities in the race for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympics (INSIDE THE GAMES, 10/27).
