Olympic Channel Announces Agreements With Six Int'l Sports Federations, Upping Count To 33

The Olympic Channel announced that it has reached cooperation agreements with six Int'l Sports Federations (IFs) to collaborate on content for the Olympic Channel. The IFs for cycling (UCI), figure skating/speed skating (ISU), luge (FIL) and for new sports in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, baseball/softball (WSBC), karate (WKF) and sport climbing (IFSC), join the 27 IFs that signed similar agreements with the Olympic Channel earlier this year. In addition to broadcasting live events, the Olympic Channel team is working with the IFs to create partnerships encompassing event coverage, highlights, magazine shows, news coverage and original programming as well as technical business solutions. Collaborations to broadcast live events on the Olympic Channel aim to complement the IFs' current broadcast and distribution arrangements. The Olympic Channel currently has partnerships with 33 IFs (Olympic Channel).
