Manchester United Leads All Premier League Clubs In Terms Of Social Media Followers

A comparison of Twitter followers, Facebook likes and Instagram followers across the Premier League shows that ManU "dominates on all three social media platforms," according to Paul Nicholson of INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL. On Twitter, ManU is nearly 1 million clear of second place Arsenal. On Facebook ManU has more than 24 million more likes than second place Chelsea and on Instagram, ManU has more than 6 million more followers than second place Arsenal. Overall across the Premier League, there are similar total amounts of Twitter followers (nearly 44 million) and Instagram followers (41.5 million), but these numbers are exceeded by Facebook likes which total 235.5 million (INSIDE WORLD FOOTBALL, 10/25).
