Marketplace Roundup: Epson Promotes New Printer By Soaking Lewis Hamilton In Ink

Printer company Epson, in a bid to promote its new EcoTank printer, soaked three-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, "in (around) 400 litres of ink in a visual ad drive." Created in collaboration with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, the slot from Citizen Films "hits home the new product and the fact the company supports the race team with inkjet printers, scanners, 3LCD projectors and wearables, including smart glasses" (THE DRUM, 10/19).

Big Bash League cricket side Melbourne Renegades and Australia’s website carsales.com.au signed a partnership, which will support both the men’s BBL team and the women’s Women's BBL team in upcoming seasons. The partnership will see the company’s branding displayed on the player’s jerseys, ground signage and other Renegades collateral. The agreement, which covers the next two BBL seasons and next WBBL season, is a significant boost for the club (Melbourne Renegades).
