Liverpool Renews Partnership With German Designer Hugo Boss

Liverpool renewed its partnership with Hugo Boss and "to celebrate," the club released imagery of the suits players will wear this season, according to Matt Maltby of the London DAILY MAIL. Seven Liverpool players modeled the new gear "as they posed for pictures in the German designer's grey three-piece suit." The suit, which has Liverpool's crest emblazoned on the front pocket, "was matched with a smart white shirt and a red tie." The photographs were released ahead of Liverpool's clash with ManU on Monday (DAILY MAIL, 10/12). In Liverpool, Andy Kelly reported there was "no shortage of first team players happy to pull on their suits." Emre Can joined Philippe Coutinho, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge, Loris Karius, Simon Mignolet and Joel Matip for a photo shoot -- "complete with black footballs to complete the look" (LIVERPOOL ECHO, 10/12).

SEEING IS BELIEVING: Standard Chartered and Liverpool are partnering to promote the bank's flagship community program which works to tackle avoidable blindness. Liverpool will wear the "Seeing is Believing" logo on its shirts for the match against ManU. To celebrate the campaign, Liverpool Manager Jürgen Klopp appeared in a video highlighting the effects of avoidable blindness (Liverpool).
