Nissan Puts French Int'l Laure Boulleau At Heart Of Champions League Activation

Nissan, official sponsor of the Champions League, has put French women’s national football team player Laure Boulleau “at the heart of its #DrapeauNissanUCL marketing campaign,” according to Manon Barbay of SPORTS MARKETING. As a part of its partnership with the Champions League, Nissan has offered 14-20 years olds the opportunity to “become official flag bearers of the competition for the next matches hosted in France.” In total, there will be 12 selected, six for the Olympique Lyonnais vs. Juventus match played at Parc OL on Oct. 18, and six for the Paris St. Germain vs. Basel match played at Parc des Princes on Oct. 19. Contestants can enter by visiting the Nissan booth at the Porte de Versaille Auto Show, on Nissan’s website, or through Nissan’s Twitter and Facebook accounts. This is the first Nissan campaign for Boulleau, “who has been a partner of the car brand” since early ’16 (SPORTS MARKETING, 10/3).
