AS Roma President In London Seeking Investors For New Stadium

Serie A side AS Roma President James Pallotta "is reportedly in London seeking investors for the new stadium," according to FOOTBALL ITALIA. The club has submitted plans to build a stadium of its own, and hopes to "break ground in March." According to Corriere dello Sport, Pallotta and Franco Baldini have flown to the U.K. for meetings "with potential investors from the Far East." The main reason for the visit "is to try and secure extra funding" for the "Stadio della Roma" (FOOTBALL ITALIA, 9/29).
