Pakistan Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq on Sunday said that sports must be separated from politics and added that he "aims for a cricket series between Pakistan and India." He said, "Pakistan is always ready to play against India but what can we do if they do not want to play. If India can play against Pakistan in ICC events then why not in bilateral series?" He added that sports, especially cricket, "can bring the people of India and Pakistan together" (DAWN, 9/25).
