Allianz To Continue Supporting Paralympic Movement For Another Four Years

Insurance and financial services provider Allianz expressed its intent to continue supporting the "Paralympic Movement" with the Int'l Paralympic Committee for another four years. The announcement came during the Rio 2016 Paralympics at the Allianz media reception. Allianz also supports the Independent Paralympic Athletes Team with travel insurance for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games as well as onsite in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to its partnership with the IPC, Allianz is taking part in the #FillTheSeats campaign by supporting 3,000 children and people with an impairment to attend the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. 

WORLDWIDE EXTENSION: The IPC and Ottobock extended their worldwide partnership until the end of '20. An int'l partner since '05 and the longest serving partner to the Paralympic Games, Ottobock has provided technical services for equipment used by Paralympians since the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games, where the company's "Passion for Paralympics" was born. The announcement comes at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, where Ottobock has a team of repair technicians providing equipment repair services (IPC).
