Coca-Cola Signs Renewals With Bundesliga Trio; FC Cologne Signs Zoom Trader

Coca-Cola signed "a trio of renewed deals" with Bundesliga clubs, netting extensions with Hertha Berlin, Vfl Wolfsburg and SV Darmstadt 98, according to SOCCEREX. Both Hertha and Wolfsburg have signed five-year agreements, running until the end of the '20-21 season, while Darmstadt signed a three-year deal. All three clubs will benefit from fan activations organized by the company (SOCCEREX, 8/30).

FC COLOGNE SIGNS NEW PARTNER: SOCCEREX reported in a separate piece Bundesliga side FC Cologne signed binary options merchant Zoom Trader as "a new, primary partner." The company will enter the team’s sponsorship structure "on the top-tier," in a three-year deal. Zoom Trader will advertise around the team’s RheinEnergieStadion, and will receive "TV-relevant promotional opportunities." Sponsors.de reported this tier of sponsorship "often demands a low six-figure euro annual payment" (SOCCEREX, 8/30).
