Marketplace Roundup: Bundesliga Side FC Schalke Signs Deal With AOK NordWest

Bundesliga side FC Schalke signed a new sponsorship deal with health insurance provider AOK NordWest until '19. As part of the three-year deal, AOK NordWest will become the club's official health partner (Schalke).

German Hockey League (DEL) side Krefeld Pinguine agreed to a new helmet sponsorship deal with Nika Medical for the '16-17 season. The logo of the company will be featured on the players' helmets (Krefeld Pinguine).

Liverpool and InstaForex extended their partnership for a further two years until '18. The extension will see InstaForex continue to receive a range of marketing and promotional rights, including the use of the LFC brand and player imagery, as well as the ability to offer LFC experiences to customers and fans in markets across Asia and the CIS (Liverpool).

The FA reached an agreement with construction firm Buildbase to become the new title sponsor for The FA Trophy and The FA Vase. England’s two premier non-league competitions will be known as The Buildbase FA Trophy and The Buildbase FA Vase. The Buildbase FA Trophy is open to clubs playing in steps one to four of The FA National League System -- the four tiers immediately below League Two of the EFL (FA).

Asiaray Media Group Ltd., an out-of-home media company with a strategic focus on airport and metro line advertising, has been appointed as the exclusive advertising agency of 2016 FIA Formula E Hong Kong ePrix in Central Harbourfront, Hong Kong. The inaugural Hong Kong ePrix will be part of the third season of the FIA Formula E Championship. Apart from the LED walls and trackside banners at the racing venue, Asiaray will also be managing the advertising spaces of the public areas including the spectator fences, the Man Yiu Street footbridge connecting Central Ferry Pier and Int'l Finance Center, and Central Terminal Building (Pier 7 & 8) (Asiaray Media Group).

Sports and lifestyle headwear brand New Era partnered with Liga MX side Chivas Guadalajara, the football club with the biggest Mexican fan base in the world. The debut collection, launching in Mexico in August and in the U.S. later this year, celebrates 110 years of Chivas history. The collection is made up of 69 different styles and features six different club logos from the club's history. The brand's 59FIFTY fitted cap will be featured alongside the 9FIFTY Snapback, 39THIRTY stretch fit and specific styles for kids and women (New Era).
