Serie A Side Inter Milan's Partnership With U.S.-Based HotelPlanner Has Six-Figure Value

The one-year agreement between Serie A side Inter Milan and HotelPlanner.com signed earlier this month has a six-figure value, a spokesperson for the U.S. company told SBD Global. As the club's official hotel reservations partner, HotelPlanner will manage all of the team’s travel accommodations while on tour for events held outside Milan. HotelPlanner will also be available for fans, sponsors and "Inter Club members," offering special discounts on hotel accommodations. The company will activate the partnership through all available media and digital platforms. The deal, however, does not include traditional sponsorship rights such as stadium signage at San Siro. Inter Milan has partnerships with several other U.S.-based companies, including Nike and Milwaukee-based human resource consulting firm Manpower. For HotelPlanner, the agreement with Inter Milan is its biggest yet with a European football club. The company also has deals with English sides Queens Park Rangers, AFC Wimbledon and Millwall FC. However, the majority of HotelPlanners' sports deals are with U.S. properties, including NFL, NBA and NHL franchises and a number of colleges.
