Marketplace Roundup: Insurance Firm Ping An Extends Partnership With Chinese FA

Chinese insurance company Ping An has "extended its partnership" with the Chinese FA. The renewed deal "will see Ping An act as an official sponsor of the Chinese national team, and it will continue to work on growth initiatives alongside the CFA." Ping An will "also provide insurance cover to the CFA" to the tune of RMB1.42B ($213.8M) (SOCCEREX, 8/15).

RENAULT RENEWS: Renault Australia will renew its partnership with Australian Football League side Port Adelaide, as "joint major sponsor, tying the French brand to the club" through the end of the '17 season. Port Adelaide has worn the Renault logo on its jersey "since it began its partnership" in '13 (GO AUTO, 8/12).

STOKE CITY SIGNS KINGFUT: KingFut has been appointed by Premier League side Stoke City to manage its Arabic social media accounts and digital media presence across different platforms. The move comes as part of the club’s strategy to expand its int'l reach and communicate with Arabic-speaking fans across the Middle East, Africa and the rest of the world. Arabic becomes the second language that the club will use to connect with Stoke City supporters worldwide on a daily basis, after English (KingFut).

South Africa Rugby
 announced that Blue Label Telecoms has extended its partnership with the Springboks to cover the rest of the '16 season after joining SA Rugby's sponsorship family for the Castle Lager Incoming Series against Ireland in June. Blue Label Telecoms’ name and branding will appear on the Springboks’ jersey for the Castle Lager Rugby Championship against Argentina, Australia and New Zealand, as well as the Castle Lager Outgoing Tour to Europe in November (Blue Label Telecoms). 

Ligue 1 side Lorient announced its principal partners have renewed their support of the club. B&B Hôtels, Jean Floc’h, Breizh Cola, Salaün Holidays and Virage Conseil all renewed their sponsorship contracts for the ’16-17 season (Lorient).
