His new responsibilities "demonstrate the importance the company is putting on the success of the new Quebec City venue." Dion said that Quebecor "remains an 'important partner' of the NHL and Commissioner GARY BETTMAN" (CP, 8/4). ... Brooks Running promoted PATRICK PONS DE VIER to senior VP/global footwear and also named adidas VP/Football Design GERALD KUHTZ senior design director of global footwear (Brooks).
