France Télévisions, Eurosport Extend Contract With FFT To Show Roland Garros Until '20

The French Tennis Federation (FFT) extended its contract with France Télévisions and Eurosport for the broadcast rights for the French Open at Roland-Garros until ’20, according to MEDIA SPORTIF. France Télévisions and Eurosport (via a sub-license agreement) “retain the exclusive broadcast rights.” In addition, France Télévisions will remain the delegated int’l broadcaster of the tournament. The original contract was for the period of ’14-18, and “satisfied with the new distribution of rights,” the FTT decided to extend the agreement for a further two years (MEDIA SPORTIF, 7/28).
