Samsung Launches French Olympic Campaign Looking For Fan Support

As a partner of the Rio Olympic Games, the French division of Samsung has “launched a campaign designed by the Willie Beamen agency surrounding four athletes heading to Rio,” according to Manon Barbay of SPORTS MARKETING. Samsung is “shining the light on four Olympic and Paralympic athletes: Elodie Clouvel, Arnaud Assoumani, Nikola Karabatic and Renaud Lavillenie, in the spot directed by Cyril Masson.” Internet users are “encouraged to support the French athletes” through Samsung, which is also a partner with the French Olympic team. On social media, users can post a message or videos using the hashtag #S7LifeChanger “in a chance to win a Galaxy S7 phone and a day with the French athletes” (SPORTS MARKETING, 7/26).
