NBA Indiana Pacers, Denver Nuggets Will Face Off In NBA London Game In January

The NBA Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets will face off at London’s O2 Arena on Jan. 12 as the "NBA hosts its seventh regular season game in the capital," according to James Benge of the London EVENING STANDARD. Neither the Pacers nor the Nuggets have played in London "but will follow in the footsteps of the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors, whose match was played in front of a sold-out, star-studded crowd last year." London has played host to regular season match-ups in each of the last four seasons, "though no team from the league’s Western Conference has ever played a competitive match in Britain, largely due to the increased travel burden in a season where every team must play 82 games" (EVENING STANDARD, 7/28). Tickets for the game will go on sale at the beginning of the '16-17 NBA season. Fans in the U.K. will be able to watch the game live on BT Sport, while fans in Europe will be able to view it through the NBA's official local broadcast partners. In addition to the on-court action, NBA Global Games London 2017 will feature a variety of interactive fan activities, NBA Cares community outreach initiatives and Jr. NBA basketball programs that will bring the NBA experience to fans in London (NBA).
