Marketplace Roundup: Juventus Renews Partnership With Willis Towers Watson

Juventus announced the renewal of its long-standing partnership with Willis Towers Watson for a further four years. WTW will continue its agreement with the club's supporters in relation to health insurance. The group will be able to make use of exclusive services on offer at Juventus Stadium for the benefit of its own network of clients (Juventus). 

SAFETY FIRST: Williams F1 Team announced a new technical partnership with cyber security and data protection company Thales. Thales will deliver cyber security solutions for real-time global telemetry transmission to both Williams F1 and Williams Advanced Engineering, the engineering services and technology division of Williams (Williams F1).

HERE COMES THE SUN: Suncity Group was named title sponsor of the 63rd Macau Grand Prix. The 63rd edition of Macau’s annual sporting event will be held from Nov. 17-20. The event is officially named the Suncity Group 63rd Macau Grand Prix (Macau Grand Prix).

MARKETPLACE BRIEFS ...

Bundesliga club FC Nuremberg signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with insurance company Nürnberger Versicherung. The initial three-year partnership provides the insurance company with logo presence on the front of the team's jerseys and other marketing rights, including ad space on boards in camera view. The deal, which was brokered by Lagardère Sports, is valid for the 2nd Bundesliga and Bundesliga (Lagardère Sports). Nürnberger Versicherung will pay an estimated €1.7M ($1.9M) annually for the rights (SPONSORs, 7/20).

The PGA Tour, RBC, Golf Canada and the Heritage Classic Foundation announced that RBC has signed six-year extensions as title sponsor of both the RBC Canadian Open and RBC Heritage. The new agreements take effect in '18 and run through '23 (RBC). 

National League side Southport annouced that it will start the '16-17 season "with a new shirt sponsor." County Insurance -- a leading brand of The County Group -- "will adorn both the home and away Southport first team shirts" and replica shirts for the next two years (SOUTHPORT VISITOR, 7/20).

Scuderia Toro Rosso F1 announce a new partnership with hybrid cloud data protection company Acronis. The one-off partnership will take place during the Hungarian race on Sunday (Acronis).

South African cricket team Titans announced Multiply as its new team sponsor for the Momentum One-Day Cup Series and the Sunfoil Series (domestic four-day competition). The sponsorship "is confirmed for the next three years and the Centurion-based team will now be known as the Multiply Titans in these two formats" (JACARANDA FM, 7/19).
