Media Notes: Go Secures Exclusive Rights To 380 Premier League Matches

Maltese operator Go "secured exclusive rights to 380 Premier League matches per year for the following three seasons" running from '16-17 until '18-19. Go also secured the rights to two seasons of the FA Cup and Serie A. Go "is now the exclusive holder for various sports" including the EPL, FA Cup, Champions League, Serie A, as well as Formula 1, Wimbledon Tennis, rugby and golf (TELECOM PAPER, 7/5).

BEC PARTNERS WITH FIVB: BEC World Public Company Ltd. secured a new four-year deal with the Int'l Volleyball Federation (FIVB) for exclusive broadcast in Thailand of three major volleyball events across its network. The agreement, negotiated by IMG on behalf of the FIVB, is for all media rights in Thailand of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix (women’s indoor national teams), the FIVB Volleyball World League (men’s indoor national teams) and the FIVB Volleyball Club World Championship (women’s and men’s indoor club teams). All events are from '17-20. BEC will provide an unprecedented level of free-to-air coverage across all three major tournaments (FIVB).

STAYING CONNECTED: Exterity extended its collaboration with C3i Group for the 145th Open to provide video solutions and connectivity for next week's tournament at Royal Troon. Video solutions will be available in the tournament media rooms and hospitality tents to enhance the attendee experience for those who otherwise would not be able to see the live action directly from the course. This collaboration will also extend to The Walker Cup from Sept. 9-10 in L.A. and other amateur golf tournaments (Exterity).
