Brazilian Hulk Signs With CSL Club Shanghai SIPG For Russian Record $62M

Russian Premier League side Zenit St. Petersburg forward Hulk has joined Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG for a record €55.8M ($61.6M), according to Dmitriy Rogovitskiy of REUTERS. Zenit said in a statement, "Zenit and Shanghai SIPG have come to an agreement regarding the transfer of the Brazilian forward. Compensation for the player will total 55.8 million euros and there will be add-ons." The transfer deal "is the biggest in Russian football history." The 29-year-old Hulk, who has won 46 caps for Brazil and scored 11 goals, joined Zenit from Porto in '12 for €40M (REUTERS, 6/30).
