Premiership Rugby Side Wasps Launch Superleague Netball Team

Premiership rugby side Wasps "officially launched a new netball team and unveiled one of the top figures in the sport" as its new director of netball, according to RUNNING RUGBY. Tamsin Greenway, currently the coach of the England U21 team, has signed up for Wasps Netball as the team gets ready "to compete in the Vitality Netball Superleague" from February. Greenway "has competed in three World Cups and one Commonwealth Games and won back-to-back national elite Superleague titles with Storm." The creation of Wasps Netball, which will play its home games in the Ricoh Arena’s Jaguar Exhibition Hall, "comes after Wasps were named as one of three new teams to compete in the Superleague." The Vitality Netball Superleague will consist of 10 teams, seven of which competed in the '16 league, "bolstered by three newcomers in Wasps, Severn Stars and Scottish Sirens" (RUNNING RUGBY, 6/30).
