Atlético Madrid's New Stadium Faces Criticism Over Seats Lacking Visibility

Atlético Madrid "has not opened its new stadium and it is already facing criticism on social media," according to David Vinuesa of LIBERTAD DIGITAL. The club is offering fans, through its website, "the possibility to choose seats using a virtual map of the stadium." This 3D representation "has faced problems in the design." Fans are seeing various sections "in which there are seats, but none of them are on sale." The reason "is simple: in these places the visibility of the field is not complete." Digital newspaper Vavel "has studied the different sections of the stadium and has found problems near the Lateral Este scoreboard" and in the last section of the "Grada Alta del Fondo Sur" ("Upper Tier of the South Zone.") In the visitors' section, "which cannot yet be accessed virtually," there could also be problems. Nearly 70 total seats "could have less than complete visibility" (LIBERTAD DIGITAL, 6/30).
