Former Australian basketball player Andrew Gaze lauded the inaugural National Pro Combine in Melbourne as an "unprecedented opportunity to review available young and import talent," according to NEWS.COM.AU. The Combine, organized by W Sports and Media in conjunction with Australia and New Zealand Basketball Scouts, is in its second and final day of "exposing non-contracted potential players to NBL coaches and scouts." Gaze, Sydney Kings' newly-appointed coach, said that having "so much talent under one roof" at the State Basketball Centre was an "enormously positive development for the league."
