French Open Signs Strategic Partnership Deal With China's Sina Sports

Chinese online sports platform Sina Sports "announced a strategic partnership with the French Open," which kicked off Sunday, according to the GLOBAL TIMES. Under the terms of the agreement, Sina Sports will become the "Social Media Destination of Roland Garros in China" through the creation of a Chinese-language website for the competition. Fans can use the portal "to access match highlights, live scoreboards, player interviews and other match content." The French Open "becomes the second major, after the Australian Open, to engage in a partnership with Sina Sports" (GLOBAL TIMES, 5/23).
