Marketplace Roundup: DEL Club EHC Red Bull Munich Extends Deal With Warrior

German Hockey League (DEL) champion EHC Red Bull Munich extended its partnership with kit supplier Warrior Sports. The U.S. company has renewed its deal for another two years until the end of the '17-18 season. Warrior also extended its partnership with Austrian top flight hockey club EC Red Bull Salzburg for a further two years (Red Bull Munich).

German Hockey League (DEL) club Cologne Sharks "renewed its deal with insurance company" Axa Decker. The company "will increase its investment and become a second-tier partner of the club" in '16-17. The insurance company "pays an estimated low six-figure amount for the rights" (SPONSORs, 5/2).

EPL side Stoke City announced Macron as its official technical kit supplier from the '16-17 Premier League season onward. Stoke City signed a five-year partnership with the Italian sportswear manufacturer, making it the biggest kit deal in the club’s history. Macron will provide unique designs each season for playing kits, training gear and leisure wear (Stoke City).

The EPL announced that Carling will become its official beer partner, in an agreement that covers the three seasons from '16-17 to '18-19. The deal marks the next chapter in Carling's long-standing association with football, having been the first ever title sponsor of the Premier League in a relationship that lasted from '93-01 (EPL).
