Tickets for Leicester City’s potential Premier League "title party" against Everton next weekend "are being offered online for a staggering" £8,600 ($12,600), according to Adam Shergold of the London DAILY MAIL. If Leicester wins at ManU this Sunday, it would be presented with the Premier League trophy following its match with Everton at the King Power Stadium on May 7. And "both home and away supporters are cashing in on the demand of Foxes fans to see this historic moment" by selling their tickets on resale websites such as Ticketbis. An assortment of tickets were available on the website on Thursday ranging from £321 ($469) for a seat in the away section to £8,594.53 ($12,550) for a "premium seat on the halfway line." The face value of the tickets for the Everton game when "officially on sale through the club" was between £30 ($44) and £50 ($73) for adults. In addition, a space in one of the exec boxes was being offered for £13,220.22 ($19,305). Ticketbis "was also acting as a reseller for fans offering up seats in the away end at Old Trafford for a pricey" £1,850 ($2,700) each. The Premier League "has listed Ticketbis" on its list of unauthorized ticket sellers and urged fans to "exercise extreme caution" when buying through the site (DAILY MAIL, 4/28).
