Coupe De La Ligue Final Draws Largest Paris St. Germain Audience This Season

Paris St. Germain’s 2-1 win over Lille in the Coupe de la Ligue was “watched by an average audience of 4 million viewers on France 2, translating into a 17.9% market share,” according to L’ÉQUIPE. The match registered the largest audience “for a PSG match this season.” The ’15 Coupe de la Ligue final, which PSG won 4-0 over Bastia, was watched by 4.1 million viewers, and an 18.5% market share (L’ÉQUIPE, 4/24). In a separate piece L’ÉQUIPE reported France’s Teddy Riner won the European Judo Championships in front of a peak audience of 765,000 viewers on L’Équipe 21. The competition drew an average audience of 700,000 for the free-TV channel (L’ÉQUIPE, 4/24).
