Polish public broadcaster TVP entered into an agreement with UEFA that "confirms the purchase of exclusive media rights to the most important football events" in the period '18-22, according to Chris Dziadul of BROADBAND TV NEWS. TVP "won a tender for the rights that was announced by UEFA" and undertaken by its subsidiary, CAA Eleven. Under the terms of the agreement, TVP "will be the only broadcaster in Poland that will be able to show all Poland’s matches in the qualifiers" for the 2020 European Championship, the qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and two cycles of the newly created League of Nations in '19 and '22. In addition, TVP has secured exclusive rights to the next European Championships, to be held in '20 (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 4/22).
IN SINGAPORE: Eleven Sports Network, the exclusive Euro 2016 rights holder in Singapore, signed distribution agreements with Singtel and StarHub to bring this summer’s tournament to more fans across the country. The agreements mean Singtel and StarHub subscribers will receive Eleven’s coverage. Eleven will broadcast all 51 tournament matches from the group stage, Round of 16 knockout stage, quarterfinals, semifinals and final live on specially dedicated Euro 2016 channels (Eleven Sports Network).
