Marketplace Roundup: Formula E Signs Deal With Catering Company Absolute Taste

Formula E has teamed up with London-based catering company Absolute Taste to bring consistency to its VIP hospitality offerings, Emotion Club and Race Suites. The one-year deal took effect with the inaugural Mexico City ePrix on March 12 and includes an option for an additional year (HJ Mai, SBD Global).

Bundesliga side FC Augsburg renewed its deal with Lechwerk until '24. The subsidiary of LEW Service & Consulting and the club have been partners since '09. Lechwerk will be the club's official catering partner at the WWK Arena (FC Augsburg).

Unibet and the Caribbean Premier League extended their partnership for another two years with the sportsbook continuing as the tournament's official betting partner. As well as maintaining its association with the CPL as a whole, Unibet will also remain an official sponsor of the St. Lucia Zouks franchise (CRICKET WORLD, 4/19).

The Horsham branch of Covers Timber and Builders Merchants announced that it will be sponsoring Billingshurst Cricket Club. Billingshurst Cricket Club's 1st XI team is currently performing in the Sussex Cricket League Premier Division. The sponsorship funding from Covers will include perimeter boards around the ground as well as the provision of new equipment for the Colts (Covers Timber and Builders Merchants).

The Australian Rugby Union announced R.M. Williams have come on board as the official bootmaker for the Wallabies, in a four-year partnership that extends to '19. Players and support staff will wear R.M. Williams "one-piece-of-leather" boots as part of the corporate team uniform. R.M. Williams will also provide boots to the Australian Men's and Women's Sevens teams and the Australian U20 team (ARU).

La Liga side Getafe signed a sponsorship agreement with Saudi Arabian telecom MCCI. The "financial details were not revealed, but the contract will last for the rest of the current season." The partnership will begin with Getafe's game vs. Real Madrid this weekend, with MCCI receiving advertising space at the team's stadium (PALCO 23, 4/18).
