Durham County Cricket Club Announces Five-Year Deal With Heineken

The Durham County Cricket Club announced that Heineken -- the U.K.'s largest cider and beer company -- has become the club's new sponsor after signing a five-year deal. The sponsorship deal will see Australian beer Foster's become the club's new County Championship shirt sponsor. Heineken's beers and ciders, which include Foster's, Heineken, Strongbow and Bulmers, will also be available for fans to enjoy at the Emirates Riverside from the start of the '16 season. Durham captain Paul Collingwood said, "This is certainly one of the most popular sponsorship deals we have ever had, and it has gone down extremely well with the players" (Durham CCC).
