Canal+ Group Channel D8 Publishes Champions League Final Ad Rates

After the Canal+ Group channel D8 “snagged the TV rights for the Champions League final for the next three seasons,” it now has revealed its advertising rates for the ’16 edition, according to Anthony Alyce of ECOFOOT. The “lowest price for a 30-second ad spot” is €43,000 ($47,390). For that price, companies “will have the right to a pre-match or post-match spot after the trophy ceremony.” The “amount for a halftime commercial spot” is €77,000 ($84,860). Optional spots for commercial breaks “before extra time and penalties” are being sold for €67,000 ($73,840). D8 expects to collect close to €1.5M ($1.7M) “just from the halftime commercial spots” (ECOFOOT, 3/9).
