Football Notes: Tickets For Spain-Romania Friendly Sell Out In Less Than 2 Hours

The Romanian Football Federation announced that the 28,000 tickets for the Spanish national team's friendly vs. Romania on March 27 in Cluj sold out in two hours. The federation announced in a statement, "In record time, in less than two hours from the start of the sales process, all the tickets have been sold" (AS, 3/7).

The Belgium FA (KBVB) and the Belgian top-flight Pro League are “working together to establish a code of conduct to punish players, coaches and officials when their criticism of referees is considered excessive.” This comes in response to Zulte Waregem Manager Francky Dury and Charleroi Manager Felice Mazzue questioning the "integrity of the refereeing body” after their respective matches last weekend. KBVB Sports Dir & Referee Board Head Paul Allaerts said, “We have absolutely no problems with criticism of referees, but we would like to avoid insinuations like last weekend” (LA MEUSE, 3/8).
