ManU Extends Partnership With Agricultural Vehicles Partner Yanmar

ManU and Japanese engine manufacturer Yanmar announced the extension of their global partnership. To celebrate the renewal, Yanmar unveiled its first ManU and Yanmar dual-branded tractor at an event in Bangkok attended by club ambassador Dwight Yorke. Yanmar is the club's first agricultural vehicles partner (ManU). THE DRUM's Charlotte McEleny wrote "the geographical and sector-specific partnerships that football clubs are courting just got a little more nuanced." The partnership, which was launched in '12, aims to help Yanmar "by using sport to grow awareness of the firm outside of Japan." Yanmar has been using the club’s matchday digital marketing boards, as well as B2B networking opportunities at home games (THE DRUM, 3/3).
