Media Notes: Catalan Public Broadcaster To Carry Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix

Catalan public broadcaster TV3 signed a contract with Spanish F1 rights holder Movistar+ for live coverage of the Spanish Grand Prix. TV3's rights to the race, which will be held in Barcelona from May 14-15, will include 60-minute summaries each day (EFE, 2/29).

"Barça Dreams," a documentary about the history of Barcelona, will go on sale on Wednesday. The film by director Jordi Llompart and producer Jorge Lorenzo will be available on DVD (€10.20) ($11.09) and Blu-ray (€16.35) ($17.77) in Spain (Barcelona).

Eurosport will show live and highlights coverage of the All England Open Badminton Championships 2016, which runs for six days beginning March 8 (All England Badminton).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth. Later in the show, we hear from ESPN’s VP of Programming and Acquisitions Tim Reed as the NFL Draft gets set to kick off on Thursday night in Motown.
