FourFourTwo Launches Football Coverage Website In U.S.

FourFourTwo, the football magazine published by Haymarket, has launched a U.S. website "as part of the brand's global expansion," according to Omar Oakes of CAMPAIGN LIVE. The site "kicked off with a digital preview" for the new Major League Soccer season, which starts on March 6. FourFourTwo will "also put staff on the ground" to cover football on both the west and east coasts of the U.S., led by Jeff Kassouf, the U.S. editor, who joined from broadcaster NBC. It comes after local sites have been made live in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. Last year FourFourTwo "grew its global digital audience" by 157%, helped by a 500% "surge in southeast Asia" (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 2/29).
