Media Notes: ITV Considering New British Boxing Project

ITV execs will meet this week to discuss a "potentially seismic new deal for British boxing." The channel is considering a new project which will see "as many as 20 fight nights a year" broadcast across its platforms. It is understood the dates "will be split between ITV1 and ITV4 with additional plans for a separate pay-per-view channel also in the pipeline" (London DAILY MAIL, 2/20). ... The Asia office of global sports production company Sunset+Vine has been appointed partner for the 18th ASEAN University Games (AUG) which will be held in Singapore in July '16. Sunset+Vine Asia will provide production services as well as the necessary media support to ensure that AUG 2016 will be accessible not only in the Southeast Asian region but also around the world (Sunset+Vine).
