Former Maine Senator GEORGE MITCHELL joined MP & Silva as an adviser on the company’s proposed football tournament that would "crown a club champion from North and South America and the Caribbean." The proposed Americas Champions League is based on the UEFA Champions League (BLOOMBERG, 2/11).

COACHES/MANAGERS: Scottish Premiership club Kilmarnock is expected to unveil LEE CLARK as its new manager on Monday. The club has been without a manager since Jan. 30, when GARY LOCKE "resigned immediately" after a home defeat to Hamilton (London GUARDIAN, 2/14). ... The Cameroon national football team named HUGO BROOS its new coach. He replaces VOLKER FINKE, "whose contract was not renewed last year" (REUTERS, 2/14).
