Rugby Football League Names Car Brand Dacia Title Sponsor Of 2016 Club World Series

Romanian car manufacturer Dacia has been unveiled as title sponsor of the 2016 World Club Series, according to the PA. The Rugby Football League has announced a three-year agreement with the value car brand to become official car partner of First Utility Super League and the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup and title partner of the Dacia World Club Series, which starts on Feb. 19 when St. Helens hosts National Rugby League side Sydney Roosters (PA, 1/27). TOTAL RUGBY LEAGUE's Aaron Bower reported in addition to its support for the professional game, Dacia "will also be working with the RFL to support local communities to benefit the game at the community level." Dacia Communications Manager Ed Preston said, "The Dacia Club World Series will be our first major activation of the partnership" (TOTAL RUGBY LEAGUE, 1/27).
