Tour De France Winner Chris Froome To Stay With Team Sky Until '18

Team Sky has held on to its "prized asset for a further two years" after Chris Froome signed a new contract until the end of '18, according to Matt Cotton of the LONDON TIMES. The 30-year-old "was recently given an OBE after becoming the first Briton to win a second Tour de France title, and is planning to defend his crown this year before competing at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro." Froome: “Team Sky have been fundamental to my success to date, so it was a very easy decision to commit to the Team until the end of 2018." Froome joined Sky in '10.
