Construction Of Mexican Football Federation's New Headquarters Appears Delayed

Work on what will be the new HQ of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) "appears delayed" just under two months -- per the FMF's projections -- before the facility's scheduled inauguration date of Feb. 28, according to Ricardo Magallán of LA AFICIÓN. Construction is being carried out in two shifts to finish work on the new home of the FMF on time. Liga MX President Enrique Bonilla said in December that the inauguration of the new site will take place on Feb. 28; nevertheless, as images confirm, the delay to the work is evident in terms of the building that will house the Liga MX and FMF offices. The delay is even more apparent "in the recreational area of the project, which will include natural and artificial fields, a gym, a man-made lake and locker rooms, among other things" (LA AFICIÓN, 1/5).
