Marketplace Roundup: Second Bundesliga Side Erzgebirge Aue Signs Shirt Sponsorship

Second Bundesliga club Erzgebirge Aue has signed a one-off shirt sponsorship deal with fitness studio chain Injoy for its DFB-Pokal (German Cup) game on Dec. 15. The company's logo will be featured on the front of the jersey when Aue takes on Heidenheim in the round of 16. Injoy also was the team's shirt sponsor during the competition's second round (Erzgebirge Aue). ... Dog food brand Special Dogs agreed to "an extension to its sponsorship of top-tier Brazilian side Corinthians." Special Dogs signed a "renewed deal that will see its logo remain on the player's shorts" until the end of '16. The value of the deal "was not disclosed." Earlier this year, the São Paulo-based club announced that a "one-year shorts sponsorship deal would cost" R$3M ($800,000) (SOCCEREX, 12/8). ... The South African Rugby Union named insurance company OUTsurance to its team of sponsors for the next three years (OUTsurance). ... Adidas "appointed Havas Helia" to its int'l customer relationship management account. Havas Helia has been appointed after a pitch against M&C Saatchi's Lida, CHI & Partners/Rapier and Proximity (CAMPAIGN LIVE, 12/7). ... England Hockey announced that 2XU has become the official compression equipment supplier of Great Britain & England Hockey. Alongside the benefits to the performance team 2XU will provide opportunities for school and club players wanting to gain extra performance levels and decrease the risk of injury (England Hockey).
