ESPN Rolls Out New Spanish-Language Sites, With Consistent Design/Feel Across Platforms

ESPN is debuting six relaunched Spanish-language versions of its websites. The relaunch, applying to ESPNDeportes.com and several versions of ESPN.com serving targeted areas of Latin America and South America, represents the first non-English ESPN sites to be placed on the new technology platform and content management system also used for the primary ESPN.com in the U.S. and U.K. refreshes this past spring. Like the English-language ESPN.com counterparts, the new Spanish-language sites will feature a consistent design and feel across any smartphone, tablet or PC. ESPN ultimately intends to move all of its foreign-language versions of ESPN.com onto the new platform, and new Spanish-language editions of the ESPN mobile app are scheduled to debut in the spring of '16.
