Retail Store Rebel Announces Partnership With Women's Big Bash League

The inaugural season of the Women’s Big Bash League has been given a major boost, with sports retail store rebel signing on as the new tournament’s naming rights sponsor. The eight-team competition, set to kick off on Dec. 5, has already attracted talent from around the world. The rebel Women’s Big Bash League will feature 59 matches played across 51 days, including eight matches televised live on Network Ten’s ONE. Rebel will also become the official online retail store of Cricket Australia. Meanwhile, Network Ten confirmed that Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars legends Mel Jones and Lisa Sthalekar will join Andy Maher in the WBBL commentary box. The first televised match will be on Dec. 19 (Big Bash League).
