New Sports Channel Stad’Afric Set To Start Broadcasting In January

The new sports channel Stad’Afric, covering African sports, "is set to start broadcasting from Paris to Europe and Africa in January," according to Robert Briel of BROADBAND TV NEWS. The new channel "will be available as a free-to-view service on the Eutelsat 16A satellite, as well as part of the Canal Sat Afrique bouquet and on IPTV nets in France." Programming "will be supplied by a team of reports in 14 African countries, covering a wide array of sports including football, basketball, handball, boxing, tennis, athletics, and martial arts" (BROADBAND TV NEWS, 11/6).
