The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Association announced the decision on Wednesday after the Court of Arbitration for Sport handed down its penalty on Oct. 2 (AAP, 10/28). ... Dual int'l and Southern Stars all-rounder ELLYSE PERRY has been named Outstanding Woman in Sport in the "I Support Women in Sport" awards in Sydney on Tuesday. Perry was recognized for her achievements in both cricket and football. Perry has featured for national teams the Southern Stars and the Matildas. She was selected for the award by Minister for Sport SUSSAN LEY (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 10/28). ... Boxer ROY JONES JR. "is a Russian citizen." The four-division champion "widely regarded as one of the finest prizefighters of his generation" was presented his Russian passport. Russian President VLADIMIR PUTIN "had signed a decree to grant citizenship to Jones in September after the boxer announced his intent to apply" during an August meeting with Putin in Crimea (London GUARDIAN, 10/27). ... PRINCE HARRY will present the Webb Ellis Cup to the Rugby World Cup winners at Twickenham on Saturday. England Rugby 2015 announced that he will "present the trophy following the final between New Zealand and Australia." Prince Harry is the honorary president of England Rugby 2015 (PA, 10/27).
